International Link Outage - Official TMNET Statement by Vijandren Ramadass Wednesday, 27 December 2006 02:12 PM We wish to inform our customers that the Internet service is currently experiencing a degradation in performance caused by several outages at some of the international links. This is attributed to the Richter 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck off the southern coast of Taiwan at 12.07 a.m. on 27th December 2006, which caused the APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2) submarine cable fault between Shantou, China and Tanshui, Taiwan and between Lantau, Hong Kong and Chongming, China. This has caused outages at several TM Net international transit and peering links, mainly to the said countries. As a result, Internet users in Malaysia and other parts of Asia may be experiencing some delay when assessing content and websites hosted outside of Malaysia, especially in U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea and Europe. TM Net has taken immediate action to divert traffic through other back-up links to reduce the traffic congestion. The international providers are carrying out immediate restoration works to rectify the problem. We will be making further announcements when the service has resumed. TM Net Sdn Bhd apologizes for any inconvenience caused whilst at the same time, we would like to assure you that we are doing all that is necessary in order to restore the service as soon as possible. This includes but not limited to Jaring [ announcement ], Nasioncom, Digi (EDGE), Maxis Broadband (Wired, Wireless, 3G) and TimeNET. Its totally understandable that things might be a little slow around the office as the holiday mood is still fresh in the air as the new year looms around the corner. Apparently it is the same for our wonderful internet connection as well. The forums are filled with complaints about why they cannot connect to their favourite Instant Messengers or their beloved MMORPG's whilst some people complain that they cannot visit certain websites. It has come to our knowledge that our international link is down, again, causing many of us not to be able to connect to various sites. Updates: Earthquake off Taiwan has damaged six submarine cables affecting the internet in Asia. Several countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea are affected by three earthquakes which damaged the international link to countries such as the US. So far reports have not confirmed exactly how long will it take for them to fix it, several quotes mentioning a couple of days while others mentioned a couple of weeks.

perasan aku time tu sedih bercmpur gembira la sb hari raya korban n kna raya  kt opis tp sib bek ade membe2 opis yg sudi memberikan semngat kt aku terharu sgt dgn kerjasama pd ketika tu aku rs ceria kembali n dpt meneruskan keje dgn sebaik mungkin.. terimakasi krn memberi sy peluang meluahkan perasaan sy di ruangan ini

Bagi aku,GC ni tempat aku berhibur baca gelak tawa korg dlm Ruangan Cerita Lawak.Banyak cerita lawak baru yang best,yang tak best pun ada gak tapi dah asam garam gelugor hidup di dunia,terima je lah..ada best ada tak best..

Memandangkan aku tak pandai memasak,sekali sekala jenguk jugak kat ruangan resipi..jenguk je,cuba tak pernah pon..bila dah jemu,pergi plak kat Ruangan Sembang2 Member Forum..sembang2 apa yg patut,kadang2 bila bosan,cari gaduh dengan forumer lain..gaduh2 manja..

Dari GC ni aku kenal beberapa jenis spesis manusia..ada pro ada kontra..semua ada kelebihan,kekurangan..GC mcm jadi tempat aku meluahkan perasaan,kadang2 merapu jugak kat sini..

Kalau dah x dapat online kat sini,aku rasa takde la sampai meronta2 nak online gak..cuma rasa rindu tu mmg ada..

so kesimpulannya,patut berterima kasih pada big boss kita IKIE MASANE yg dah wujudkan forum nih..

kau mcm nak gila....rasa nak....................pencahkan computer........lagi satu aku rindu sangat kat forum nie kerana tempat inilah tempat aku lepas boring
